Maiya Sensor is proud to introduce the new MST LS4 Series Laser Methane Sensor, a high-precision, compact gas sensor based on Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS). It features small size, low power consumption, and high sensitivity, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. It is suitable for urban gas pipeline leakage monitoring, industrial environments such as chemical plants and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) stations, environmental protection facilities such as biogas projects and sewage treatment plants, and gas safety monitoring in confined spaces such as mines and tunnels.

Key Features:

  • Accurate Monitoring, Free from Interference.

Utilizing TDLAS technology, the sensor is highly selective only to methane, unaffected by other gases, water vapor, or dust. It offers a measurement range of 0–100% VOL, with a resolution of 0.01% VOL and an error margin as low as ±0.03% VOL (0–1%) or ±5% of the true value (1%–100%).

  • Stable and Reliable with Long Service Life.

No frequent calibration is required. The sensor maintains high stability over long-term use, with a lifespan of over 5 years and an IP65 protection rating, making it suitable for various harsh environments.

  • Fast Response and Flexible Output.

With a response time of ≤20 seconds, it supports both TTL serial port and 0.4V–2V analog signal outputs, enabling easy system integration and data reading.

  • Compact Design, Wide Applicability.

Measuring just Φ20mm × 16.6mm and housed in a 304 stainless steel casing, it is shock-resistant, dustproof, and waterproof, suitable for both fixed and mobile detection scenarios.
